SyncPenguin's connector for Microsoft 365 tasks
Sync your Microsoft 365 tasks two-way or one-way with other apps and services
How does it work?
What can Microsoft 365 tasks be synced with?
Popular real-world use cases
- Share a team task list by syncing one Microsoft 365 user's list to several colleagues' To Do lists using a one-to-many sync.
- Two-way sync a Notion task database with Microsoft To Do, so tasks planned in Notion show up with reminders in Outlook and To Do.
Key features
Smart Change Tracking
Only new, changed and deleted tasks are picked up on each sync, so updates arrive quickly and reliably without duplicates.
Checklist Steps
Task steps are synced along with their checked state, so subtasks and progress are kept up to date in both places.
Reminders & Due Dates
Due dates, reminder settings and exact reminder times are synced, so you never miss a deadline in either app.
Importance & Status
Importance, status (Not started, In progress, Waiting on others, Deferred, Completed) and completion are carried over.
Flexible Rules
Use no-code filters and rules to sync only the tasks you need, for example by category, importance or keyword in the title.
Affordable & Scalable
With SyncPenguin you only pay for changes to your data, regardless of how many tasks you initially have, or will have in the future.
Supported fields
Things to note
- Each sync flow works with one Microsoft 365 task list. To sync several lists, add a separate sync flow for each one.
- Due dates are synced as whole days without a specific time, matching how Microsoft To Do handles due dates. Exact times are kept for reminders.
- Recurring tasks are not synced, which avoids creating duplicate copies of repeating tasks in other apps.
- Notes are synced as plain text, so rich formatting such as bold text or images is not carried over.
- Linked resources (for example, links to the email a task was created from) can be read and synced to other apps, but cannot be created in Microsoft 365.
- File attachments and custom fields are not synced.
- During an initial merge, only open tasks with no due date or a due date within the last 6 months are included, so old and completed tasks don't clutter the other app. New changes after that are synced as usual.
